About Us
Establishment of AIMS
Our Beloved Founder, the Late Professor Dr.Yong Chin Aun became involved in the establishment of the AIMS charters in Asia Pacific region including Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong and China in 2004.
To continue the legacy of The Late Professor Dr. Yong Chin Aun and his American team of age baked educators, the institution now has good standing and has a legal corporate existence as a non-profit organization with its international regional communications centers outside the high operating cost zones in the USA by locating to Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and India to keep operational overheads to a barest minimum acceptable levels for a non-profit institution.
Right from the start, the institution was designed to be an adult learning platform and was never intended for school leavers. Enrolment was offered to applicants with a minimum of 5 years of trade and industry based experiential learning, work related experience and knowledge based skill applications.
AIMS has extensive experience in end-of-life education and is currently open in many countries in ASIA PACIFIC, particularly in Southeast Asia and Greater China Regions.
Mission
- To enable students to obtain relevant professional qualification through Business and Management Courses in English and Ethnic Languages.
- Provide Affordable and Quality Continuing Education.
- Promote good business Management Practice.
- Train and motivate graduates to handle crisis at home and workplace.
- Provide all working adults an opportunity to upgrade themselves with further and part-time education.
Objectives
- To provide a platform of exchange of opinion, knowledge and information pertaining to current practices and future development of management practices, especially in a globalized economy.
- To provide an arena of Convergence of all issues relating to Asian Business Corporate Strategic Capability and in Corporate Enhancement with the objectives of stakeholder’s interest.
- To create awareness and facilities change processes amongst Local Organization and enhance Global Competitive Advantage.
- To established Professionalism and an on going interaction and fraternal exchange between government and non-government organization.
- To stimulate and encourage Sound Management practices enhancing Corporate Governance.
- To bridge and mediate between public and private sectors in establishing close collaboration with regards to overall development of corporate culture and business ethics.
